  • Vaughan Mills has always been the mall of choice in my family, and this was one of the first places we went when I visited Ontario in May. I used to love coming here - the excitement of a good buy, people-watching in the food court, and just spending a day away from the small town I grew up in. But, as I get older, the excitement has faded. This mall has become overrun by people all looking for the same deals as you are, real-life struggles of trying to find somewhere to sit and enjoy your lunch, and making you miss the quiet of your small town. The mall itself is kept exceptionally clean; they are constantly in the washrooms, the food court, etc. making sure that you don't have to deal with disgusting bathroom stalls or a dirty table to eat at. There is nothing nicer than seeing a large establishment like this kept up with. There are so many shops to browse; there is something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a good deal, or want to go on a brand-name shopping spree, Vaughan Mills can cater to everyone. There aren't many vacant stores, yet there seem to be new ones opening all the time. The layout here is the same as Cross Iron Mills in Calgary - it's easy to navigate, unless there are large hordes of people. I'm sure I will return to this mall, but maybe in the middle of the week during a quiet month next time.
