This place is a animal haven! For Both pets & owners! From the polite girls answering the phones to Dr. Grantz who obviously is intelligent, understands animals and truly has a passion from them.
My day wasn't so great after a rude vet had literally told me I have an "out of control dog and aggressive breed so he won't treat him. Cause he was barking in the waiting room! That's what they do! He's vocal not aggressive and thankfully this place saw the difference. Thank god I called here the same day and 30 min later Rocky was being seen.
The assistant Nick, he even sat on the floor and played with Rocky so he would be comfortable with a stranger touching him. But Dr. Grantz saw that he wasn't mean & took the time to make him even more comfortable. They brought him to a room without me so they can play with him & check him out without me being a distraction.
After a bit Dr. Grantz came back and asked me about his allergies (which showed she really checked him good cause I hadn't mentioned that yet) and more about why I was there. She also asked me a lot of detailed questions and explained WHY she was asking them all. She wants to get down to the source of the problem not just give me antibiotics and hope for the best. She taught me so much in a short amount of time. She even asked The assistant to take Rocky for a walk around the building so he can explore while the adults talk without barking! (With all the energy a puppy has he loved it)
All in all, she explained every single thing to me and every possibility of why he's sick and what she thinks is best to help him without wasting money on useless services and medications. I was there for about an hour, & not sitting waiting in a room alone either. They really took the time out which showed me they weren't trying to just get the next person in there.
My dog is literally like my child and seeing him sick hurts and now I have somewhere I trust and feel comfortable with my baby. I am grateful for people like you guys!
Thank you so much!
