| - This place seems like it could be a hit or miss for most people, so of course my girlfriends and I decided to try it out. We all didn't have a great experience, and I'll break it down so it (hopefully!) won't be too long. Skip to the last paragraph, if you want the SparkNotes version of this review!
Me (Pedicure Only) - The lady who did the actual pedicure portion was lovely, I was talking to my friends and she just had to rearrange my position once in a while cuz I'd get excited about something. The girl who did my polish colour...ohhh mannnn....I don't know if she was in a huge rush or something, but she took those cuticle cutters to me like the Road Runner was chasing her. It got to the point where it was a bit pain because of how hard and fast she was going (pun unintended, but I'll keep it just for humour sake). She painted my nails quickly and then just left me there with the feet fan. I figured that since I was waiting for my friends (they were both getting mani + pedi) it made sense for me to stay in my chair. But she never came back to see if they were dry, some other girl did. I get that they were busy, but the customer service just isn't there. On the plus side, I got to stay in a massage chair for almost 1.5 hours...my shoulders have never felt so relaxed!
Friend #1 (Mani + Pedi) - I've never heard her complain SO much about one place before. She's an aesthetician herself, so she knows what's supposed to go down. Her pedi was so-so, nothing she found amazing. Her mani though....Geez Louise! Her cuticles and nails were so uneven to the point that, when the girl servicing her left, my friend took the file and tried to fix her nails. The girl that my friend had kept on looking up at the door to see who was coming in and kept filing my friend's nails, simultaneously. How crazy is that?! Obviously, it won't be even if you're not looking at what you're doing. Anyways, my friend ended up not painting her hand nails because she was that unsatisfied with her service.
Friend #2 (Mani + Pedi) - This girlfriend is also an aesthetician and the girl she had was pretty good. She was friendly and polite and would chime into our conversation once in a while. The paint job was pretty good, and I didn't hear my friend complain. Not much to tell on this one.
Overall, I'd say it's a hit or miss. Unfortunately, it's about who you get for your service(s). The price point isn't terrible, but I think you can find other places that are around the same and maybe better customer service.
