rev:text	After a horrific diagnosis of lung cancer, I was shaking in my boots for my poor mom. The care and compassion we all have received from the surgical dept and the ICU has been like a big hug though. Nothing about this has been easy, but where they could lift our burdens, they have. They have been so kind and encouraging to my mother and to our family. I really can't say enough about Dr Arnold Chung for both his surgical expertise and his compassionate nature. I wouldn't hesitate to put my life in his hands, should I need a complicated surgical procedure for conditions involving the chest, heart, lungs, trachea, or esophagus. He's a very well respected and loved doctor. When he first met my mother, he hugged her tight, cheek to cheek. She felt his love and support and desire to help her. When he met with me post-surgery, he even gave me unsolicited (yet much appreciated) advice to get a CT scan when I turn 45 because of my family's history with lung cancer. He's exactly what you want in a Dr. --Gifted with his hands but compassionate too. The nurses in the SICU have been so kind. We couldn't have asked for better care from them while she's been critical. I could rest just a little easier when I had to leave, knowing she was in the best hands possible. I wouldn't wish this experience on anybody, but if you or a loved one are in Vegas and you find yourself in need of a cardiothoracic surgeon, you would want Dr Arnold Chung and his team in your corner.
