| - After spending almost 2 1/2 hours in line starting around 7:30pm on Seafood Friday, pigging out 3 platters, and sampling a variety of desserts, Studio B was, no doubt, definitely ONE of the best buffets ever.
Pay $30 per person and (a selection of) beer and wine are included. Awesome! My friend had M Lager, which I thought tasted too bitter, and I had the Rosea wine, which sparked me :P.
There are a myriad, eclectic amounts of high quality foods, but my mission was to take advantage of the $30 and grab the ones that are typically expensive if served in a dine-in restaurant. From that 3 plates and desserts I downed, here's what I found out:
Dude, the Prime Rib is the WOW Factor and the main attraction of Studio B. 1st bite, and holey moley, it's so juicy, tender, easy-to-cut, buttery, flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth that I just had to had to get a 2nd helping of it to savor the beefy moment. Other notable foods I've devoured and were TASTY were the Snow Crab Legs, Shrimp Cocktail, Tri Tip, Miso Butterfish, Pad Thai, Chinese Chicken Salad, and Eggplant w/ Tofu. And foods that I thought would be delicious but disappointed me were the Assorted Sushi (yes they're extremely fresh but didn't excite me), Oysters (definitely an acquired taste =/), Sashimi Salad (yucky!), Rotisserie Chicken (dry like the Vegas weather), and Bamboo Mahi Mahi (please people, DO NOT GET THIS & save the calories and room for others I've mentioned that are good).
Now came dessert. To be brutally honest, Bellagio's version competitively offers more outstanding and super indulging yummy-ness than M Resort's. But regardless, I will say that my favorite ones that I've sampled are the Chocolate Mint Gelato and the chewy, soft Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. (Side Note: I even paired with the gelato & cookie to eat it like LA's Diddy Riese =P, and it's downright so good!)
Overall, Studio B is truly a marvelous treat. Service was okay, with the exception of the super cool and helpful waiter of mine. But I was very happy spending every second to taste what I've put in mouth and receiving a physiologically almost over-satisfied feeling that I'll remind myself to return and experiment more deliciousness that I hadn't had room for. Thank you, Studio B, for making my Vegas weekend retreat fabulous.
