  • YES! You will wait to see Dr. Grover. His offices are busy because you want to be seen by the best. I have waited hours on occasion. But when my incision bled because I would not stay in bed, I was taken back right away without an appointment. I have been going to see Dr. Grover for several years. He performed surgery on my cervical spine last year, correcting twenty years of screw ups from others. After having lower back problems for several years, I got my MRI and cried in the parking lot while reading the report, but Dr. Grover knew just what to do. I was scheduled for surgery, which I put off too long because I did not want my tattoo on my low back ruined. I know, stupid. I went in for a microdiskectomy (?) but after going in Dr. Grover found that there was an underlying, more serious issue than a bulging disc which was not visible on the MRI. He fixed everything, and then painstakingly, meticulously closed the incision, taking extra care to line up the tattoo. The result is that my tattoo does not need any touch up. You cannot even tell there is an incision there. Its flat and healed perfectly. Now, when I know I'm going to see Dr. Grover, I bring my kindle, a charged cell phone, snacks and a beverage. I make myself comfortable and wait patiently because I know Dr. Grover will take the time necessary with every patient and he may end up running behind. I have been that patient who creates the delay, but when you are in a bad way, you will appreciate the fact that he cares enough to give a patient an extra 15 minutes. If I needed another procedure, I would definitely go back to Dr. Grover, regardless of the wait time. So stop complaining about the wait time, Dr. Grover is as skilled a surgeon as you'll find and cares deeply about his patients.
