I'm not usually one to complain when I have to wait, but I came in while I was in the middle of an allergic reaction. No one at the front desk said ANYTHING to me or even made eye contact with me as I filled out the paper at the front. My skin was incredibly red and splotchy and I was having trouble breathing. After filling out my paperwork, I sat in the waiting room and waited for about 30 minutes. I went to the front desk and told them that I was really struggling with my breathing so they told me they could take my vitals. After taking my vitals, I was left in a room for 45 minutes by myself with no one checking on me. They then moved me to a different room and said the doctor would be in in a few minutes. I WAS offered a water, though. After waiting another 45 minutes the doctor finally came in and proceeded to tell me that my hives must be from a cold and also tested me for strep and mono. I was negative for both(obviously) and he said that he would be more concerned if he had seen any spots on my tonsils but they looked normal and were not swollen. 1. He didn't look at my tonsils, and 2. If he had, he would have seen that I don't have any. I completely understand busy days but for the 3 hours I was there, I did not get any of the help or advice I needed. There was nothing urgent about this urgent care whatsoever and I definitely recommend going to a different place, ESPECIALLY if it's an emergency.
