  • I love love love being a member of the Pittsburgh Elite Squad! I love the events that Rachel sets up for us. I've been fortunate enough to attend quite a few events now... but with that being said, tonight's event at Fl 2 was by far the worst Elite event I've attended. The whole thing was a disaster. The guy working the bar was the worst. Not only was he rude to the yelp squad, he was messy as hell. He kept spilling drinks, splashing stuff every where, he even dropped the garnishes then picked them up and put them back in the drinks! He was purposefully ignoring anyone with a drink ticket. Here's my question... you know how many people were attending the event, you had tables reserved for us, why not have the drinks setting on the table waiting for us??? How much easier would that have been?? As for the food, we got 5 teeny tiny samples of different food that is not offered on the menu. My table agreed that the pork belly was the only good piece of food we tried. The whole food distribution thing was a disaster. There was probably 30+ people at this event, and they were only bringing the samples out at about 10 at a time and told us to have 2 bites. So basically, 5 people could try the food and then 25 of us would have to wait for them to bring more out. Again, why not put the samples on a plate for us?? It would have been SO much easier for everyone!! I can't comment on the service, frankly because I never received any LOL. Other than the horrific bartender, I don't think I had any interaction with a staff member. Here's the cherry on top of the night... I went to pick up my car from the valet and pay, and the dude at the front desk said it cost $24. UM, WHAT?! Where exactly are you keeping my car that cost $24? At that price, I would expect a full detail and an oil change!!!! I told him that I called the restaurant last week and asked, and I was told $12 (still outrageous, but it was raining). He said someone should have stamped my ticket then. So the staff at Fl 2 didn't even think to ask if anyone used their valet and needed a ticket stamped? SMH. Like I said, I love being a part of the Elite Squad, and I can't wait for the next event. However, Fl 2 was a total bust!
