  • Stay as far away from this dealership is possible unless you want them to make you feel like you're stupid and ill-informed. Even though you've done your homework I went to Peoria Ford yesterday to try to trade in my 2015 Ford Fusion. I had done my homework and had a complete file of information income credit reports already pulled verification of income also the title to a second car that I was willing to trade in to sweeten the deal Basically I was trying to get my payments lowered from 565 and was not unreasonable considering the condition of my credit and would have been grateful with a payment of 475 First problem I have with them is they restricted me to what car I could have and even the color. They wanted to stick me in the eye metallic grey colored Ford Focus I ask myself person if there was a possibility of getting an invite and he said no this was the only one they could do a deal on After doing the credit application myself person came out and showed me their offer letter. They said they would be able to get me into the Ford Focus but at $580 a month I looked at myself first and I said are you kidding me I'm trying to lower my payment I'm currently at 565 I decided to go ahead and leave and ask for my keys which there was a little bit of resistance on getting them back and told them that I was having a voluntary repo drop off my credit that day Their sales manager came out with my keys with a visible attitude and I explained to him that I have a repossession dropping off of my credit that day and that should improve things and I would be back He proceeded to tell me that repossessions take ten years to drop off your credit and basically I was stupid and ill-informed on how credit works. Because he has been in the industry for 10 years and has more experience than me Even after I explained to him that I had purchased a membership with Experian credit counseling and fraud prevention services. Also I told him that I talk to them before I came to the dealership to know exactly where I stood in regards to my credit He still proceeded to have an attitude and basically make me feel like I was stupid
