  • When I first walked past their "pre-opened" store front, I thought it was a mirage. How could this be...was it even possible, and why didn't I think of it? Well they did - a combination of items for sale including; Microbrewed beers (mainly from Québec - but also some allowable imports), locally produced products and specialty imports, accessories plus advice (it says on there post card sized flyer). Tastings also caught my eye, but I'll have to find out more about this soon. It appears they have started off with some pretty user-friendly hours 10am-11pm daily (check with them before a visit as they may adjust based on demand, especially on Sunday). It also appears that they have received a warm early reception - based on what they offer you could imagine that being the case. The ambiance is quite hospitable and fitting for their offerings. I will check back on the particulars of their products and services on a longer than stop-in length visit. I'm already a fan, but will know better if Maltéhops is truly as good as it gets.
