  • I was very impressed with this restaurant. First of all, they say it's Italian but it really isn't. They will use some things that get in Italian restaurants but the do it in a different way but don't expect to get meatballs. Also, never had raw fish in an Italian restaurant. That being said, the food is really good. A friend and I both did the 3 course meals where you can pick almost anything of the menu as one of your the items. I highly recommend doing this and sharing so you can try more things. We started with the crispy pig ears (not part of the 3 course items). Very good with a fatty taste to them with a sweeter sauce that real adds to them. Our first course was the albacore which was pretty good and very fresh. We also had the brutta (cheese section) that was also very good. Only complaint is that there wasn't enough bread for the amount of cheese, but we probably could have asked for more but didn't. We then went to the risotto. I highly recommend this one as it was one of the best plates. Don't let the blackness of it (squid ink) stop you from eating it because it really was amazing. With it came the semolina gnocchi which was very good. Make sure to scoop up the sauce and pork jowl from under it with the gnocchi which really makes the plate. We then got the short rib and add the bone marrow. The short rib by itself was really good, but with the bone marrow it went to another level. This was up there with the risotto as the best of the night. Then came the yellowtail collar. So there is a lot of bone there with not as much meat which was somewhat of a bummer because it was pretty darn good. The fish just melted in your mouth. This is where we made a mistake. Use one of the courses (1/6 course with two people) for dessert. There will be enough with the other five choices. We went with the casata, I think it was called. They changed the menu so I couldn't look it up. It's the first option. It was a pastry with apricot that was really good. Came with a scoop of gelato on top. The staff was very good. The cocktails were also good but this is getting long enough. I would recommend checking this place out. P.S. Sorry for the bad pictures.
