| - 8-Bit Aleworks is quite possibly my new favorite place in the West Valley.
I've lived here over 15 years and I've never seen a bar like this. Video games! Finally! I can't begin to explain how excited I am for this. Where to start?
Ryan and his wife are extremely friendly and accommodating. Their house-made drinks are fantastic. Even though I'm not a beer aficionado, or a big drinker, I really enjoyed all their offerings, especially the White Mage which I've deemed an instant classic.
Then there's the atmosphere. At first, I was a little thrown off by the whole industrial aesthetic, but 5 minutes later I was hooked. I've never heard of or seen a bar with this type of design, and the uniqueness and minimalistic décor has me convinced that 8-Bit is teeming, TEEMING with awesome, raw potential. I can't wait to see what's in store for this low-key gem of a place as it digivolves and hopefully expands (I think that's the plan in the long run).
Seriously though, this place is so under the radar that you'd scratch your head wondering how people even find out about it. With that though, there's almost this cool sense of secrecy. Like you know something that others don't. Not that I'm discouraging you from spreading the word: you definitely should.
I can see the future... no, wait. I have seen the future! And the future is 8-Bit Aleworks!!
