#2 review for Yelp 100 Challenge
Dip, swirl, and swallow. Double dip if you dare. It's all good. It's shabu shabu! Don't forget to masticate and savor each flavor your palate tastes.
I made sure we were going to dine here during our Vegas trip for Thanksgiving 2015. I had to see JoKoys new spot. Gotta support the Kuyas out there!
Dana greeted us with a smile and what started out as a miscommunication regarding reservations worked out at the end. So. It's a solid 4 1/2 stars.
The place was designed as a typical shabu spot I've been to. Rectangular layout of seatings, counter style. This way the servers can efficiently maneuver themselves around all the customers. It's modern and sleek design gives it a great ambiance to dine for small and large groups. One side is the low bar section and opposite side is the high bar. I like the low bar. Makes me feel safer since I'm short. Hahaha
I started with their Organic green tea with diffuser. Cute little gadget which I am not accustomed to. But I figured it out. Loved the warmth of the hot tea for the 40 degree temp in sin city.
Dana was great at explaining how their menu works even though it wasn't our first time having shabu shabu. I like to see that at new establishments. So, thank you Dana. You did great sweetie!
We ordered-
Kurobuta pork in sukiyaki. Fresh. Tasty. Loved it.
Pork belly in tonkatsu. Duuuuude... oink heaven!
Prime rib in sukiyaki was my fav. Absolutely great quality of meats there Josep!
Loved the service. Parking was a breeze at a huge shopping plaza.
Definitely a must do when I'm in Vegas again! Can't wait to return!
