  • First order of business while visiting Madsion- down some cheese curds! The Old Fashioned came highly recommend from a local we spoke with and hotel staff. Sure enough due to it's infamous popularity we were faced with an hour wait but we quickly found bar seating. Known for it's array of old fashions, we didn't order any, but viewed the cocktails being crafted by the mixologist. I had the BLT sandwich and cheese curds. Cheese curds def lived up to the praises. Fried, crispy and gooey. A treat for the soul. BLT was well above average. Probably the juiciest tomatoes I've ever eaten. Tomatoes were dripping all over the place and it was topped off with high quality bacon! Prime rib sandwich was equally enjoyed by my fellow diner. In the evening, a Supper Club menu is offered. Now I fully understand why the The Old Fashioned is long standing! Yum!
