Pho dac biet $7.95
Lots of meat. Four pieces of tendon! Four! Noodles were thinner than I was used to, and I expected them to be too soft and overcooked. Nope! Chewy yet soft, perfectly cooked. Even towards the end, it didn't get too soft. Tripe sliced super thin too.
Bun bo hue $9.95
Two decent pieces of pork hock, cooked to literally falling apart tender. The pork blood cubes were a little too gritty for me tho. Noodles were fat and chewy, again cooked perfectly. Broth was not too oily and a little lacking in the spice department but still very good.
Banh mi dac biet $3.50
I really liked the mayo they used. A bit of tang. The bread looks really thick but it's very soft and does not cut up the roof of your mouth! That is a constant problem for me.
Egg rolls, 2 free with Yelp check in!
Not only do you get the egg rolls, you also get 4 big leafy pieces of lettuce, mint sprigs, daikon/carrot mix, and cucumber slices. Nice!
Restaurant itself is fairly big, clean, and not hot. Staff is very nice.
And they don't charge for ice water!
I'll be back for sure!
