As someone that has stayed multiple times at the other 3 Marriott properties within a few blocks of here (Marriott Key, Renaissance, and Metro 9) I'm am entirely underwhelmed--ESPECIALLY for a Ritz to be my least favorite of them all.
1) When I checked in, I waited 15 minutes because they had one person on front desk. They also kept declining my card which had more than enough credit before I just sighed and handed over my debit card.
2) Room appointments are dated and subpar--Renaissance next door is cheaper and actually considerably better decorated in my opinion.
3) There is no concierge lounge--I'm a frequent Marriott/ritz traveler, and this is a big one for me.
4) Fitness center is tiny.
All in all, not a great showing for a Ritz Carlton. I'm here nearly every week, and this will be my last at the Ritz.
