rev:text	I finally made it to this Charlotte staple just a few weeks before it is set to close :( I actually really enjoyed this venue. I agree with other reviewers that it was bigger than expected. Small enough to feel intimate, but a more lax feel than some other indoor music venues around. There's also an upstairs with a railing that goes around the whole back of the room, which is super helpful to short people like me. There are 2 bars downstairs and what looks like a third upstairs (it wasn't in operation while we were there). I'm guessing it had to due with the type of ceiling and where I stood (the far back of the venue, upstairs), but I did find the sound to be a little bit muddy. It might have been different if I had been standing closer. They bring really good bands. Easy to get in, and also easy to get out despite crowds. Parking took a minute, but we found something without too much effort. It's a shame this place is closing because I would definitely go back.
