  • I was seriously disappointed by this resort. It apparently attracts a huge crowd for summertime staycation to the point that it was downright unpleasant. It started with the hour wait to check in...but I was still optimistic, I thought I would enjoy the property which seemed nice from the lobby. Next we received a room in the mountainside on the first floor. The balcony overlooked a parking lot and the living room faced a stucco wall. Would have requested a change but was afraid of the huge crowd at the front desk. Next we went to the water park. It was packed as bad as Wet n Wild if not worse. I was hoping a hotel water park if smaller would be nicer than the local water parks. After an hour we headed back to the room. We had planned to order room service and relax but really there was nothing appealing about hanging around the room which was nothing special and had the aforementioned crummy view. I was then we decided to go home. No reason to waste more money and hang around in the room. We checked in at 4:30 and left at 7:30.
