| - I purchased a sectional on 1/25/15 , Brian was my salesperson. He did his job well and I felt like I got a great deal. The sectional I purchased came to $1125 out the door including tax. The same sectional at the main RC Willey was $1500 plus tax. I paid $140 for delivery, we live 45 miles North of Vegas. The delivery guy "Jamie" was amazing and I recommend him highly!!
Back to the story of the sectional. While looking at the sectional before purchase I asked Brian the salesperson why this sectional was here on the clearance center and was there anything wrong with it. It appeared perfect. He told me that it was most likely a floor model from the store and then he read the ticket and it stated "MARKS ON FABRIC". SO, BOTH BRIAN AND MYSELF looked the whole couch over. All We Found Was A Small Mark That APPEARED To Be Some Sort Of drink. Needless to say I purchased it. I was very happy so far......the next afternoon which was yesterday 1/27/15 Jamie delivered it on time. He was very carefully and professional. Once again I gave the sectional a once over and everything looked fine. Still very happy with my purchase. Fast forward three hours after it was delivered my daughter was lying on the new sectional and complained that her blanket smelled like animal pee. Mind you we have No dogs! I brushed it off as her blanket just probably being dirty so I decided to wash it for her. She didn't say anything more and she fell asleep. I finished cleaning my house and then decided to lay on the couch and watch a movie. Within 30 seconds of laying down I could smell what smelled like dog piss!! I jumped up off the couch and smelled the cushions, there was dog piss everywhere!!!!! I can't even begin to tell you how upset I was! By now it was 3 o'clock in the morning and there was no way I could call anybody or even go to the store. I couldn't sleep because I was worried that this was a last and final sale because signs were all over the store that stated so. And, I also signed the receipt saying that I understood it was final! I was absolutely freaking out! I was so afraid I was going to be out $1,100. Come morning I grabbed one of the seat cushions,the one with the most dog pee on it, and drove 45 minutes to Vegas so that I could be there when they opened. I had contacted Brian in the morning and he said he would take care of it when he got in at noon, but I didn't want to wait until noon. To give Brian credit he did answer me immediately. As soon as I got to the Clearance Center I asked for the manager. I don't remember his name but whomever his superiors are know who I'm speaking about. He approached me immediately shook my hand and listened to what I had to say. He smelled the cushion so he knew I was not lying and immediately stated it was unacceptable and that I could get my refund back or credit for the store. I was very hesitant to choose anything else in the store and didn't see anything I liked anyway. I wanted the same couch but it was $1,500 plus tax if I were to go to the main RC Willey store and purchase it. The manager came back to me and asked me if I was interested in getting a brand new one, the same set, and he would meet me halfway on the difference of the price. I ended up paying $200 more but I'm going to be getting a brand new sectional exactly the same.The dog pee sectional is still in my living room. And it is actually smelling my house up horribly but JAMIE The delivery man will be here tomorrow once my new sectional gets in from Salt Lake City. Now I know that RC Willey would never intentionally sell me something like this and it's probably due to the fact that another customer brought it back to the store and did not disclose that their dog had peed on it before they returned it! I pray that RC Willey tracks them down! And I hope they get their money back because those people should have never gotten the return back! I'm writing this review to let you know that RC Willey does stand behind their products and they do care about their customers!!Last night when I realized the sectional had pee all over it, it was set in my head that I would never return to RC Willey ever again nor would I recommend them to any family or friends or even strangers that I knew! Thank you to the manager who fixed my issue!!! And SMELL YOUR FURNITURE WHEN GOING TO THE CLEARANCE CENTER!
