  • Okay so I'm a huge supporter of the Love Store I love these stores and the Rancho store has become my main store (if you're there ask for Heather she dresses in Victorian Era clothing you can't miss her!). I have written reviews for both the Rancho and Rainbow store and have given each 5 stars because they are a wonderful sexual wellness store and not at all shady. Well tonight I just so happened to be on a drive and decided to stop in here while passing by just to see what they have and because the Rainbow and Rancho locations are wonderful and have never made me feel like I was In a creepy sex dungeon. This one made me feel like I was in a creepy sex dungeon BIG TIME. Okay so first off it's in a neighborhood that literally has nothing around it. All the neighborhood has are empty warehouses and lots. I felt as though I was in a Goodfellas scene about to get whacked by some dude in a Cadillac. The store is quite plain on the outside the only thing directing you to it is a gigantic neon sign that says THE LOVE STORE. The marquis has letters that are falling off and drooping and I already felt creeped out but I figured it would be better inside. I was wrong. So first off everything is spread out in weird fashion. when you walk in you're greeted by a giant soda machine and then the desk is right by your side like a Hotel. In front of you is a ton of lingerie and clothing items (way more than at the Rainbow or Rancho locations) and then you get rows and rows of toys. The thing is these rows are spread out in such a way that is weird. You don't have specific rows dedicated to specific things instead everything is mixed in together. What I mean is you'll be looking at fleshlights but then to your right will be dildos then to your left will be lube. When you cross the aisle to the other side you'll have dildos mixed with candy mixed with more lube and some dvds thrown in. Everything is so mixed up and jumbled my OCD started going nuts. I was so creeped out and I just felt so odd that after I looked over their fleshlight products I tried to leave. That's when the woman pretty much stopped me and almost forced me to stay in the store. She started asking me all these questions about if I was ready to pay, did I find something, why not, can I help you, etc. The only thing that keeps me from rating this store 1 star is that after talking for about 5 minutes to the woman she turned out to be pretty nice even though she did try to force me to stay in the store. I just felt instantly weirded out by going into this store, it didn't feel like The Love Store at all instead it felt like those really creepy sex shops that perverts hang out in. It really did. The thing I love and cherish about the Love Store is that it prides itself in being a sexual wellness store. it prides itself in realizing that sex is normal and not creepy and that people have normal human needs. This store takes that image and stomps on it repeatedly. If this is your first time shopping in a sex shop avoid this location at all costs. Go to the one on Rainbow or if you want my recommendation go the Rancho store. The Rancho store is smaller but the staff is wonderful and it's very clean and classy and Heather is just an amazing and friendly girl and very helpful (yeah I got a crush on heather so what lol). This store if it's your first time at a Love Store location will ruin the Love Store for you. it will leave a bad taste in your mouth. go to another location avoid this creepy dungeon of a joint. P.S. This location is the exact same price as the other Love Store locations and has pretty much the same stock. You won't get any deals or discounts for coming to this location. So yeah do not shop here at all!!!!!
