| - This was my first visit to this famous NoDa neighborhood coffee shop. Following most Yelper's recommendation, I tried the hot 'dirty chai' and definitely enjoyed it, although it didn't leave me jumping for joy. It came in a really small cup, maybe 10 ounces ( which is okay with me) Maybe I should try it iced? Not sure.
The restaurant itself is a unique, quirky , funky type of place that would like to park myself in to read a book, do some homework, or write some Yelp reviews. It's very narrow inside, but they got creative with the seating: single person alcoves along the wall, bar seating at the front window, seating outside in the front, and on the sides of the building. There is even a curvy bar from which I believe at some point in the day they serve beer on tap ( local brewery creations included).
Saturday morning was pretty crowded inside, but I will certainly be making a trip back, maybe when it's not so busy.
