FYI...this place is really dark. Like, maybe have to read the menu by your cell phone glare, dark. Drinks are a little pricey, but the Georgia Mule was really good. The soup special (parsnip, potato and leek) was velvety and seasoned well. It is a pretty big portion, so order accordingly. The scallop dish was good, the scallops were cooked perfectly and the sautéed mushrooms complimented them well. The dollop of bacon jam was ok...it was more sweet than savory and I didn't think it paired well, but others may. If you are a kale love, the steak salad would be a good choice. There are a few strips of steak on top of a literal mound of kale...with a few butter lettuce leaves and a sprig or two of arugula. There are toasted walnuts and broccoli florets scattered around. The dressing was good, but raw kale is a tough chew.
