I don't so much think of the Calgary Farmer's Market as a market as I do an Artisanal Mall. The produce section and usual farm items you'd expect to see at a Farmer's market are solid, but it's the produced goods that really set this farmers market apart. Well, produced goods and the food court. The food court is incredible, showcasing plenty of grab and go meals from great local businesses.
The Calgary Farmers Market is the most mainstream of Calgary Markets. This makes for a consistent experience with consistent products, and a very cohesive feel to the overall building. While it makes for a good experience, it somehow seems to lose that authentic feel of the pop up markets.
