Worst DMV I have ever been to.
They all move with no sense of urgency and chat like there is not 300 people sitting in front of them waiting to be served.
The drive instructors would take one test then walk around chatting for 30 minutes. Is there some sort of down time they are required between drives? I was there from 11-4 and you could set a clock by how long they took to do nothing between drives. Then they try to say it's because it is so busy.
I want a job I can work for 20 minutes judging someone else's driving them come back and meander around the office for 30 minutes. Then rinse and repeat break for lunch and continue til 4 pm. Then between 4pm and closing only take 2 tests (one standby) between the 4 instructors.
I will be using ANY other DMV office for my DMV needs no matter how far just to avoid these stereotypical government employees. Is there where burned out public servants go before they retire? They become drive instructors for the DMV.
I did make an appointment online. They didn't call my number. When I was texted the desk number someone was sitting there. Then they called a different number to his desk.
Then I had to wait for my husband who couldn't make an appointment as he needed to take both tests. It sucked but the drive time people made it worse. My first bad experience at a DMV.
