| - I just had a great experience at Sophia's. It is certainly no fancy bra boutique like some others I had recently checked, so I was a little wary at first. I was looking for a strapless bra for a bridesmaid's dress, which fit a little awkwardly in the bust. I was trying to avoid having the dress altered if at all possible.
Sophia found me a few options, taking into consideration that I was conscious of price but that I needed something very specific. She had me bring in the dress and came into the change room and helped me not only into my dress, but into the bra as well. It was no biggie for her to reach into the bra and shift my boob into position, but the casual no-nonsense way she went about fitting me put me at ease and made me comfortable enough that a stranger's hand in my bra cup really was no biggie.
She then had me walk around, jump, twirl, and move about to make sure the bra didn't show and confirmed that the bra meant I didn't have to go for alterations.
But one step above her being good at her job-- Sophia also discovered that the manufacturer of my dress had sewn the hook and eye down so that it couldn't be done up properly. So she had her employee remove and resew the hook right there while I waited. She carefully removed the extra ribbon inside (for hanging) and then repinned it in a way that allowed me to hang it up without it getting caught in the zipper. She folded up the extra straps the dress came with and sealed them in a tissue paper envelope, which she labeled for me. She gave my dress, which came from a whole other store, the same care and attention she gave to fitting the miracle bra she found me.
I will definitely be returning to Sophia's, not just because of the convenient location, but because of how much she cares.
