I had a reservation through car rental online Price was good. I rented from July 27-30. This was the first time renting in Vegas from Thrifty. Immediately walking in the building the line was protruding almost to the slot machine. I waited in line for about 2 hours. It was over 110 degrees outside, some a/c in building but a lot of bodies waiting in line with kids all over the place and pissed off people. After the counter, I went in to the garage and there were no cars. Now there is no a/c in the garage. I waited about another 30 minutes, and was in luck and got a car. It had pulled in, got cleaned and zoom I left. My son was very upset that it took so long and not enough vehicles available. We will never rent from Thrifty in Las Vegas again.
Oh, and they over charged me for two days. I come home and have to call and get transferred to many people to try and get credit back on my card. One lady said she would adjust the two day charge and taxes back to my card but couldn't give me an amount as she said another department will do that. I said then why am I talking to you and you can't give me a specific amount to be credited. She said she could only correct the error but cannot credit the error. I will wait about a week to see what they do on my credit card. If i is not done correctly, then I will just go to my local Thrifty rental center and have them fix it or make a scene in front of everyone there!!!!!!
WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD WHEN YOU GET HOME. They might over charge you a couple days if you don't pay attention.
