  • NOT WORTH THE MONEY (FALSE ADVERTISING) I don't even know where to begin with this 3 ring money making circus. Lets start with it was my birthday, and my husband being the wonderful man that he is bought me the deluxe "personal" dolphin experience. I was so excited and couldn't wait to encounter these beautiful creatures. From the moment I walked in, I could tell the place is very unorganized and not ran smoothly. The front desk girl rushed me through everything and told me to go through the double doors where I will be greeted by someone who will then give me instructions. No one greeted me and as a matter of fact I wondered around like a moron trying to find someone who works there! Finally i went back inside and asked a guy in the photos department where and what do I do? After his directions, I found myself sitting in a group of FIVE people....(NOT a personal package people, don't get your hopes up.) OK, so I have to share the dolphin with 5 other people no big deal, we'll all have a good time. Well......if you call a total of 2 MINUTES of PERSONAL time with the dolphin a "interactive package". I am not exaggerating, the only time you actually personally interact with the dolphin is the dolphin kiss and dance which equals to about 2 minutes. Then you and your group touch him as he swims by you. Yup, $200 bucks for 2 personal minutes and the rest of the time you are standing there in the cold slimy water watching the trainer touch and do tricks with the dolphin.....did i really need to pay $200 to watch her have fun with the dolphin? Honestly, that wasn't even the real disappointing part. All I wanted was for my hubby to capture a moment on my phone of me and the dolphin during our 2 minute encounter, and just as I'm about to dance with the dolphin, the pool bouncer gets in my husbands face and orders him to leave! First off, he was told while making reservations that WE would have access to the Beach Club area, NO ONE told us he would have to pay an extra $35 bucks just to stand there! My husband pleaded with the guy to please just let him take this 2 minute video, and before you know it the moment was GONE and I had my 2 minutes of fame that didn't get caught on camera because of some bouncer and their pointless rules! Anyway I'm thinking all is not lost, they had "professional" photos/video being taken by staff, I'll just maybe purchase some....HA WRONGOLA! For a million bucks you can have your $200 2minute dolphin experience photos! Here's where it gets interesting. My husband, again being the noble, loving man who felt bad because he thinks he failed me with the camera lol, decides he's going to talk to the manager and tell her his encounter with the dolphin bouncer who made him miss the shot. Doing so in hopes of getting a courtesy photo or video. NOPE! Instead, we heard "sorry" about a million times and even got insulted by the manager, telling us we should "feel lucky" that this location even has a viewing place to sit. Uhh what? OK so after that pointless tangent, the photo manager then proceeded to follow us around. We are now standing in front of the computer viewing our gold plated photos, and Before you can say bob's your uncle, the photo shark comes and stands next to me. Now we have ALL eyes on ONLY us. How embarrassing! A few minutes later, I simply grabbed my phone to check a message, and went to put it back in my purse, and before I could fully grab it, another sharknado swarms us telling us "NO photos!" This kind of treatment is uncomfortable and UNACCEPTABLE! They are literally guarding these photos as if it's the tomb of Jesus. I saw staff through the reflection on the computer screen looking from the corner of their eyes at us. You pay all this money to be treated like teenage criminals! The funny thing about it is, they are just going to delete these photos, and they would much rather do that, than let the public take a second hand photo with a glare! The ending to this drama, is we got offered a measly 10% off the million dollar price tag, to which my husband and I got had, and bought two 5x7 pictures for $47.61. Yes folks, nearly $50 bucks for 2 small photos. (The short video would have cost $139) I cannot tell you how awful it felt paying this company more money, knowing your getting ripped off, AND treated like crap. This establishment is the most UNPROFESSIONAL, MONEY HUNGRY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, HIGHWAY ROBBERY TO THE FULLEST. Please do NOT buy into the hype. Save the money and go have a real dolphin experience in the Bahamas!
