| - Brought in my AR for their ultrasonic cleaning because I went 2 thousands rounds without cleaning it. Thought since it was a 50 dollar cleaning it would get the job done. Carbon caked up on the bolt and figured something as fancy as an ultrasonic cleaning would take care of it. Well I dropped off my AR on Wednesday and was told that it'll be clean and ready on Friday. So I go Friday to pick up my rifle and turns out they're closed Friday - Monday for the gun show. I guess they must've forgot because why would they have me come in on a day that they were closed. Was a little annoyed, but not too much since I didn't really need it right away anyways. I return on Tuesday to pick up my AR. Paid the 50 dollars and went back home. Decided to check their work and see if the carbon on the bolt was removed. It wasn't, it looked exactly the same. Actually, the entire bolt carrier was still dirty. It looked as if they only oiled it up and through it back in. I was extremely disappointed with their work. I ended up cleaning it myself, took about an hour to finish it, but did a whole lot better job than their so called "ultrasonic" cleaning. I regret taking my AR to them, I should've just spent the hour cleaning it from the start and saved myself 50 bucks. Can't say anything else about their shop since my only visit was the cleaning, but definitely a bad experience. If you're looking for a place to clean any type of firearm, DO NOT waste your money and go with these guys. Just because they say it's an ultrasonic cleaning, doesn't mean it is. Save your 50 bucks and YouTube a video to do it yourself. Even if it's really dirty and caked up, just do it on a day off and spend a couple of hours. You'll still have to anyways if you take it to them, only difference is you'll be out 50 dollars.
