| - I am on UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete plan; and under this plan, it supports dental care, which is amazing care as it pays 100% of crowns, fillings and crown prep.
If there was a 6 star rating, I'd give it to the Sunshine Dental Care. They all integrate into one big family of care.
Dr. Yen C. Wang is an amazing dentist. I say amazing; because the things you want in a dentist, he is. He's patient, kind, thorough and assesses the X-Rays well.
The X-Rays that they give are, also, a good way of doing it as they are like bitewing X-Rays (so they are covered by all insurance plans); yet they are digital; so if you move and they're blurry, they know immediately and can re-do that one.
He does X-Rays before even cleaning your teeth. This means that the underlying concept is to properly assess what needs to be done before ANY work is done in a wholistic 'let's devise a plan of what needs to be done, which needs to be done first, and what doesn't need to be done right now... which is the proper way that anything based on science should do things.
They are definitely not a 'NEXT' type of dentist trying to get as many people through the door as they can just to make money as it seems almost every other dental place does). You get personal care that is completely dependent upon your special needs.
If it turns-out that you need to have crowns done (which is, oftentimes, the right way of going if you want your teeth to last a very long time), Dr. Wang's (along with a very patient and gentle team of dental technicians) are very good at creating a proper mold and crown prep.
I hadn't been to the dentist for quite some time (and work with kids; so I tend to eat too much candy); so three crowns and 6 fillings latter the work was done (they installed the three crowns today).
If you want a very patient staff, an extremely competent dentist and a pleasant atmosphere, this is where you should go.
