I had been browsing scarves on Burberry's website and wanted to try them on prior to making a purchase. I made my way to this boutique last night, but left empty handed after a very uncomfortable shopping experience. The scarves are located in the front of the store, and I walked right over to the pull-out drawers filled w/ them. The salesman quickly came close and watched as I looked at several items. He would randomly make brief statements like "That's silk." (which I already knew just by looking at/touching the scarf). I started to feel a little uncomfortable b/c of his proximity and staring, so I walked over to the scarf bar where they had most of the cashmere scarves. He followed. I looked briefly, but my discomfort level became higher as he continued to watch me like a hawk. I moved on to the separate side room where the sale items were, and was picking up several scarves and looking at the marked down prices. I then heard a voice behind me say "I think they're all the same price." ....which actually they weren't. I looked behind me, and there he was...still very close, and still staring. I left w/o buying anything b/c honestly I didn't feel comfortable browsing or trying anything on. I will avoid this store in the future and stick w/ the online boutique and other retailers like Nordstrom.
