  • Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Haven't been here for a good 5 years, decided to come and see how things were. Wait: Was actually not bad, waited about 10 minutes during lunch time, for them to set up a table for 4. Service: 1.The server came to get our drink orders shortly after we sat down. Didn't have to wave anyone down just for tea. 2. Probably due to lunch time, the carts came around but a lot of the food was not available and had to wait until the carts refill. 3. Servers came around frequently to clear empty plates and refill the drinks, which is very good. Food: *Shumai (pork dumpling) was not of the authentic/traditional flavor, it carries a Western flavor to it. Not to my taste. *XiaoLongBao (Shanghai Dumpling) was OK, a bit too dry. This dish should have soup when biting into it. ChangFen (Steamed Rice Noodle), was made very well. It was soft and thin, but didn't fall apart when I picked it up with chopsticks. It is not easy to get it to that texture. They also offer a few dishes that are not served at other dim sum restaurants. I missed eating them! *ShengJianBao (Pan-fried Pork Bun). I haven't been to a place that served this for years! It was delicious, the bun was soft and fluffy, the meat was juicy inside. *BaiTangGao (Rice Cake). Fluffy and not very sweet, just like it should be. It had nice thin layers, whereas other places make it a big chunk. Will definitely come back another time for lunch!
