  • This place is so cozy, especially when trying to find a warm and comforting place to tuck into on a cold and rainy walk from the rapid. I've been inside Erie Island Coffee a few times, but have never bought more than just a plain black coffee (my go-to). One morning I was feeling adventurous and decided to not only buy my go-to coffee, but to also get a breakfast sandwich and buy two bags of coffee (one for work and one for home). The staff was friendly and while they prepared my sandwich, I had time to really look at the artwork inside of the shop. I have to tell you, it's some pretty cool shit. Coffee: DELICIOUS. I really truly love the coffee here. It's not bitter, it's full of flavor and smooth. Food: I got the egg and cheese bagel sandwich and added spinach. It was pretty dang delicious if I must say. I'd definitely try another sandwich from here again. My only gripe and why I rated it 4 stars? It's quite pricey to me. I bought one medium black coffee, one bagel sandwich, one can of la croix water and two bags of coffee...$29.90. Just the two bags of coffee came to $21.90. I mean maybe that's not expensive to some but holy hell my wallet yelled at me for that one. Overall, I love this place and will definitely return. Maybe not to buy coffee for the office though. :)
