  • This is our corporate hotel-of-choice in the area, and with the recently renovated rooms, I was pretty pleased with it. The rooms are generously sized, with a nice kitchenette, seating area and workstation. And I love that there are tons of plugs everywhere...I like to be able to charge my phone at the desk, or next to the bed. The gym was small, but serviceable, service was excellent, and the free breakfast was pretty good...if all else fails, they have a big bowl of bananas...my go-to fruit when traveling. My only complaints about the room were the terrible lighting/loud fan in the bathroom (the lighting was like something out of The Shining...creepy), and the fact that the hot/cold water was backwards in the kitchenette sink...I almost scalded myself, expecting cold water. Except for that, well done with the renovation, Hyatt Place!!
