  • Our experience was less than desirable. Cliffs notes followed by more detail below: Very unorganized, scattered, unprepared, not enough staff including being short a pilot they had to fly in from Utah!! Not enough food, way too much time waiting and only got 30 minutes of air time and not a lot of sunset. Seemed more like start up than well oiled machine. Even with all of these delays they made no attempt to remedy to acknowledge what was happening. Overall they have a great concept just very poor execution. Definitely not worth the extra money. We arrived on time at 3 for our sunset ride and waited out side for about 20 minutes before being greeted. Apparently we should have gone to back of building but people had gathered our front. When we were escorted inside I was happy to see they had their own warehouse with bathrooms. However we were cramped in, they were running very behind. We waited some time before being given the lemonade and cookies of which they ran out of. They were very frantic and unprepared running about and it was almost stressful watching them. After another hour sitting in the warehouse we were finally escorted to the vans to get to launch site. It was around 4:20 at this time. We had about another 15 minute drive to the launch site and when we got there the crew was waiting but nothing was ready or done. It took another 15 minutes to get the big Baloon up as there were two groups. In the mean time all of the other Baloon companies were up and flying by 4:30ish. My family continued to watch. Once that Baloon took off they got our Baloon going. Now keep in mind we had a sunset baloon ride. Sunset was scheduled for 5:27 that day. Our Baloon launched at 5:15!!! That was also due to our pilot getting there late since he flew in from Utah. One of their selling features was 1 hour of air time. However by law they have to be on the ground 30 minutes after sunset. We ended up landing at 5:49pm. From there we were to get a gourmet dinner. Well once again they were running very behind and we waited around another 20 minutes without drinks or food while they kept setting up!!! When they were finally ready they had a small fruit salad and the main meal was chicken fajitas for just chicken tacos since they ran out of vegetables. I ended up only eating one taco and was still hungry. Dessert was a small brownie. The drink was a special champagne cocktail that I didn't mind but was a bit odd to be a crowd favorite. After dinner we all had to wait around AGAIN in the cold desert for another 30 minutes while they finished cleaning everything up. We didn't end up back at the warehouse till 8:15pm!!! When back at the warehouse everything again was chaotic and people were just ready to be done and go home. One couple was even considering calling a Uber to get them while we were waiting in the desert!! This company needs a strong business manager. The owners hearts are in the right place but felt very Mom and pop shop.
