| - I want to preface this by saying this review is STRICTLY regarding the pizza station. Why review them solely? Because frankly speaking, it's the only place to get a decent vegan pizza around Mississauga.
Every time we order pizza, I indicate on my order sheet that I want the pizza well done; then go on to politely ask the person I'm handing the order sheet to. And sure enough, EVERY TIME; the pizza is undercooked and soggy in the middle. EVERY TIME I bring it home, I have to cook it further in the oven. No problem, I have lived with this for about 2 years now visiting this Whole Foods; the pizza being vegan, local, and frankly a good pizza is worth the extra time to re-bake it properly for a crispy slice.
But recently? Recently it's gotten ATROCIOUS. The last TWO TIMES IN A ROW that I have visited, they straight up forgot to make my pizza after walking around the store aimlessly waiting for it and of course spending a bit extra while doing so. The first time they apologized right away, so I just waited.
But Today, March 18th at 7pm; sure enough they did it again but with a much different course of action. THREE of them working, on TWO pizzas; and AGAIN they forget entirely to make mine for 20 minutes. Then while I'm waiting, I watch their faces as they realize all three of them SOMEHOW missed another order, at which point one tells me, "oh it'll be 5 minutes" with ZERO pizzas in the oven. I give her a look as if she thinks I don't have eyes apparently, at which point another employee said oh it'll be 15 minutes actually. Not a single apology, ZERO acknowledgement of their mistake; just overall zero accountability. I told them to just throw the order out at which point they have the audacity to start calling me to wait for it.
How can 3 people be this ignorant and empty headed? How can you not just offer an apology after you've OBVIOUSLY made an idiot of yourself? It's mind blowing that the PIZZA STATION can be this daft, with the rest of the grocery store being INCREDIBLE. I have amazing interactions with everyone here, but alas this section must be special.
Can you please hire a real pizza restaurant to come instruct your employees on how to work the oven? Maybe how to not pile ingredients on, even when I order 2 ingredients; making it a soggy mess. My friends at pizza libretto can help you, just for the love of all things fix this.
You have the vegan pizza market cornered in central Mississauga, if you just replace those terrible workers currently running it.
