| - Update- our son is now 11 months and we are still loving Shadow Hills!
I am writing this review because when we were researching faith-based childcare for our 4 month old there weren't very many substantial reviews. There are quite a few faith based daycares available in the valley, but we found most of them dark, smelly, smaller rooms or extremely expensive. We toured 4 places before choosing Shadow Hills.
Shadow Hills is a great place to entrust your children with. The front desk staff are always courteous and helpful, they also have a long tenure with the school/church. They have a locked front door, clean, well-lit facilities, and the baby rooms are large with windows. They practice fire safety drills, play Sos radio in the classrooms all day, their refrigerators are clean and everything is well labeled. The teachers keep track of everything that goes in and out of your child (for lack of better words) as well as nap times. Each child gets their own crib or pack n play, and they use blankets to line the swings and standing/sitting toys. We love our sons teachers. They take time to get to know each child. They don't just babysit- they encourage growth, physically, spiritually and with other kids. They sing worship songs, talk with them, play, and face each other to interact. Even though our little one is only 6 months old, he's grown so much since he started there. He is always happy, and he sleeps well at night. We are so thankful that Shadow Hills is available for our precious son. It's hard to let him be in someone else's care during the day, but we know he is safe and well cared for at Shadow Hills. We are looking forward to seeing his continued growth at this preschool.
