| - I just went in to get my pick-up washed at the 16th & Missouri location, and had a VERY bad experience! I am a regular customer and was very surprised.
My windshield had NO crack in it when I arrived. (In fact, I had just replaced it two weeks ago using the service of the guy there on site.). When Ultimate Full Service was complete, there was a 9 inch crack down the center of the windshield starting at the top. I asked the guy who finished my cleaning job, and he just shrugged his shoulders and pointed at the someone who looked like he was in charge (Big guy, bald/crew cut, didn't get his name....). He came over and I explained and simply asked what would happen? Would you guys cover it through your insurance, or would I have to file under mine.
Instead of a simple discussion, he immediately went into 'defense' mode and quickly denied that there was any way the damage could have been caused by them or the wash process. He simply said, 'we are using soap and water........ Explain to me how that could have damaged your windshield...'. WTF????? Denial instead of simple customer service??? When I asked him if he thought I was lying, he just repeated and said something like 'No, I'm just telling you our process could not have done that.....'. Again, SERIOUSLY?? He reminded me of a small child who quickly goes into 'it wasn't me' mode instead of having a simple discussion about what my options were.
VERY disappointing!
As I said, I did not get his name but I would suggest you talk to him. This is a neighborhood joint, and to treat a customer like that was super lame.
I won't go back.
