  • These people had these fancy cups that I could tell were a big deal to them. It was part of their morning ensemble. Well dressed (if not stylish) women with these silver-looking contraptions containing tea (lol) or coffee. I had a cup. It was plastic and I believe it's 24 ounces. I don't know that for sure but it feels like more than your standard 20-ounce water bottle. I still have that cup today. It's on my office desk. I drink five things out of cups (water, Pepsi, hot chocolate, orange juice or Minute Maid Fruit Punch). This cup? Only water. Try to get four to five glasses a day while at work. I haven't really given this cup a good washing since fall of 2016. On second read of this review, I debated deleting the previous sentence. I don't really think I have to. It's only water going in it and ONCE I filled it with M&M's. That was a good day during a good week in late December 2017. I am currently playing "Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning)" by Veritcal Horizon on my Spotify as I pen this review. It has 13.8 million total listens. I'm lucky there was no Spotify in July 2005 when the girl I had been dating for two years broke up with me alongside the side of the road in Maine (the state) and told me, "I just can't see myself marrying you. I want a dog." I had a broken leg at the time. I was living in Key West and she was living in Baltimore. For the best, as the people say. I listened to this song roughly 42 million times in August 2005 on "Dell Music." Also, I can't stand when bands add a parenthetical remark in a song title because it definitely sounds like something I'd totally do to show everyone how witty and creative I can be. It's a character flaw. Confidence is quiet and insecurity is loud. It is perhaps why I am so break-up-able-with. The Clevelander is not the best I ever had but I loved that place during my five-month stint in Cleveland. I coerced people into going there with me a lot. I'm a good dude but when I like going to a place, you're going to hear about it a lot. It was always there or City Tap. Everyone would be like, "Yeah, Dave, I wanna go out with you but NOT to the Clevelander." It didn't really have air conditioning, had no windows and smelled. I loved it. Good drinks. Friendly bartenders. There's a word I'm looking for to describe it. Halfway between my office and The Clevelander rested this little hipster place with a cool storefront. It's definitely not the type of place I'd ever go but did seem to jive well with my co-workers. They had the S'well cups that the well dressed (if not stylish) women would drink from. Until then I had only thought football players and Irish people had names that included apostrophes. S'well s'howed me! I don't know why people would pay top dollar for a cup. Like. You drink from it. It's long as it's clean and doesn't have any holes in it, what's the difference? Hold on a second, it's a little too warm in this Canada Goose coat I am wearing. Ok, back. Even years have generally treated me better than odd years. I keep track of this stuff. I prefer fall and winter to summer but of my three best months ever (November 2014, June 2016 and June 2004) two have come in the summer ... or spring if you really want to be a d*ick about it. The weekend that began on June 17, 2016 is my favorite weekend ever. It was ... in a word ... and hold on ... let me take a drink out of this cup ... super. As was (and probably still is?) The Clevelander. I watched the Cavs win an NBA title on Sunday, June 19 at The Clevelander. It was at least 94 degrees in that establishment but I kept hydrated over the nine hours I was there with bottled Miller Lites. Had the Cavs lost Game 7, someone was getting cut. I love that vibe. I'll continue when I review City Tap.
