rev:text	My wife's parents both worked in the supermarket industry so it's always been interesting to us to visit different grocers around town and even when we are traveling. Back in the day this used to be an Abco store and it still has some of the southwest decor leftover from then. Otherwise, it's nothing like Abco and that's a good thing. This isn't just an Asian supermarket, it's an international supermarket. There's an excellent selection of European food as well as South American, African, Indian, Middle Eastern and anything else you can imagine. Their produce section is impressive with good prices. We've found some interesting things here such as Haldiram's Minute Khana Aloo Kulcha (authentic Indian bread stuffed with potatoes and spices baked in a clay oven), Perugina 51% cacao dark chocolate (Italian dark chocolate is amazing, you need to try it) and Eurobakery Bosnian pita bread (amazing with strawberry preserves). And of course we stock up on gochujang (fermented pepper paste) when we make bulgogi. I've never been there when they aren't busy. We've almost always been there on the weekend when it's packed but we've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to check out. There is also a location in Mesa near Southern and Dobson but it's much smaller and seems to be lacking in the magic this location has. I'd give five stars but I feel like they need to fix up the store a bit; floor tiles are worn and some fixtures are a bit beat up. Lee Lee Oriental Market is a nicer store in that regard but I prefer the selection at Asiana.
