I've been to The Mission twice now and each time has been amazing. I love the ambiance here. It's a bit noisy around happy hour time, but it adds some buzz and excitement. The restaurant is dimly lit, so perfect for a romantic evening. They also have a nice outdoor patio area, but it's small, so if you want to sit outside, be sure to make a reservation ahead of time and ask specifically for it.
You have to try the Pork Belly Pabil appetizer!!! It's so incredibly good!
I've tried the braised short rib, the filet (stole a bite from the boyfriend!) , and the grouper... each dish is beautifully composed and extremely flavorful.
For dessert, the chocolate churros are fantastic!
When the weather is nice, it's a great little neighborhood to stroll through and shop, too!
