| - As I drove past the decrepit Family Dollar and into the far depths of the parking lot, I knew I was in for it. What greeted me on the other side of the Fitness Together door was better than I could have dreamed. The space is small, but the workout is comprehensive and complete. My introduction to FT was after they posted a Groupon, but after using my 3 training sessions, I was so pleased with their offerings that I signed up for a 25 session package... and I HATE to work out. So far, I have trained with 4 different trainers, and each has been very good. Most of the exercises involve your own body weight and/or cardio movements, so there's not a lot of setup or machines involved.
For warmup (each hour session begins with 15 minute warmup), you have your choice of bicycle, eliptical, or treadmill (one of each). While this might seem like a small selection, I've never had to wait for the machine I wanted, and there has only been one other person (max) also training during my session. They also offer water bottles and fresh towels for each session. And if you sign up for a package of sessions (and/or prepay in advance), they're willing to scale the price to bring the total cost down.
All in all, I'm super pleased with Fitness Together. Now, to be super pleased with the results!
