  • Thank the good lord baby Jesus that Calgary is a fad city. I love the food trucks and I Love (capital L) Steak Out. Now I know the purpose of the food trucks is to be mobile and to be out and about around the city, it is a great way to try them all and to experience new and tasty food. But lets all be honest, it's awesome that there is a stationary food truck and it is Awesome (capital A) that that truck is Steak Out. Okay now to talk about Steak Out, it's excellent. Done. Review over. The steak is so tender and juicy and delicious. The steak fries are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. All of the items on the menu are gently flavoured, they are created on the basis that the ingredients being used are tasty on their own. Having a steak sandwich add some grilled onions, another great simple flavour. So good and tasty. It is based on the opinion that the Steak Out (/Holy Grill) people know what they are doing. How can you beat that? I enjoy the Steak Out more than I enjoy steak at some (lower case s) steak restaurants. I won't name names on that subject. Nothing more to say, eat Steak Out. It's in front of MEC, you can't miss it, it's the truck parked on the sidewalk in front of MEC.
