As a born and raised Las Vegan, I've been going to Macayo's since I was a kid. It is pretty much the native's standard for Americanized Mexican.
My faves...
Spicy Chilorio, a delicious mix of creamy cheese, chiles, onions and either shrimp or chicken. Served with a large helping of beans and a side of tortillas it's like a heartier, more delicious chile con queso.
Baja Chimichanga
A huge chimichanga smothered in ranchero sauce as well as their classic, sour cream-based spicy Baja Sauce.
While some locations have closed over the years and the menu has had slight tweaks, Macayo still provides that comforting taste we grew up with.
