  • I want to start by saying I love Penn and Teller, and have seen their live shows in the past. This particular Vegas show (August, 2017), was super slow. I'm not sure if they are just getting older and not taking as much risk, but it was not as funny as in the past and the tricks were not as impressive, either. It seemed to drag on, and the set ups to the tricks were also way too long. They also invited too many people on stage which also slows the pace. I hope they update their show soon, and get some new writers, because they are truly wonderful people and great magicians.
