  • We scheduled an appointment with Capital Plumbing in Madison for a new hot water heater. They had installed our last hot water heater 13 years ago and we were satisfied with their work and pricing. The day before the plumber was scheduled to arrive, we tried to dispose of some old Metamucil down the kitchen drain and it clogged our drain. The plumber installed the new hot water heater in no time and proceeded to unclog the kitchen sink drain. "Do not attempt to dispose of Metamucil down a drain," Throw it in the garbage. Jeff the plumber from Capital City certainly went the extra mile for us to unclog our drain and even had to run some new plastic drain piping to remedy our mistake. We were afraid to open their bill, but the billing was more than fair and we will recommend Capital Plumbing in Madison to all of our friends and neighbors.
