9. Easy to find.
10. Pet friendly.
CON's
1. Staff was ok, but not quite as friendly as the other places we have stayed. (Not bad, just ok.)
2. The room had a majorly musty smell. With the fan going, it was fine--couldn't smell anything. But, if we didn't have the fan blowing, the smell was very bad. Smelled like mildew....centered just inside of the door. We had the blower off the morning we left--off for about 3 hours or so--during this time, the smell became almost unbearable.
The worst thing about it was that our dog, who laid on the floor right there for a few hours, left smelling like moldy socks. He was clean when we arrived, but when we left he smelled so bad that we had to roll down the windows for the first hour we drove just to air him out. If we tried to close the window, the smell of that stinky floor was so strong that we wanted to gag.
What caused that smell on the floor? I don't know. It did not smell like animal pee or vomit or anything like that. To me, it smelled like mold. During the hours we had the air blower off, the window fogged over with condensation so badly that water was dripping down the glass. I think moisture has built up in that room over time and mold has grown under the carpet right there near the bathroom. (Just a guess.)
3. Seriously sketchy part of town. We pulled in and I wanted to turn around and go somewhere else. A pretty hotel plopped down into a terrible location. I barely slept that night, so worried that our vehicles were going to be broken into.
BOTTOM LINE: Forget everything else....I would never stay in that location again. I won't be coming back.
