I will never go back.
My first tattoo from Club Tattoo was in 2005 right after my mom died. I wanted a butterfly on my foot with her initials. I don't regret what I got, but the artist quickly drew something up and put it on me. It's one dimensional, there was no effort or thought put into it, and he worked quickly.
A week later I was in Urgent Care with a staph infection in my foot. I took a round of serious antibiotics and tried not to blame them thinking I could have been responsible for not taking proper care of my tattoo. Now I look back and wonder who's fault it really was.
A year later another artist touched up my tat since the original artist no longer worked there for free- which was nice of him. It looks ok now, but wish I had a much prettier butterfly on my foot.
Then in 2008 I went again for a wrist tattoo. I wanted it in white ink. The artist argued not to do it, but it was for a cousin who had just passed away who had hers in white & it looked great on her. He finally agreed and he did it quickly. He was not very friendly and I should have questioned it at that time. Despite CT offering free touchups for life, they never ONCE returned my phone calls and emails asking for a touchup so I had to go elsewhere.
Expensive, impersonal, & questionable quality. If you are going to put something on your body forever, think LONG & HARD about who you want to do it.
