Surprisingly distinctive array of beers. we sampled twelve wonderful and unique flavor profiles ranging from a light C.R.E.E.M golden ale brewed with arizona wildflower honey (which gives it a distinctively sweet flavor) to a N.I.B imperial stout aged in a 32 year old rum Bartell with real Vermont syrup.
The gastro grub is delicious and savory, complementing the beers beautifully. We had a sizable bowl of poutine with short rib over cheese fries and gravy. A foot long Chicago dog, and grilled cheese with tomato bisque. The menu sported a good variety of international bites as well as pizzas and burgers...pretty much what you would expect from a gastropub.
Service was attentive and fast, although server did not make a point of telling us what the beers in the flight were, or make recommendations or walk us through the menu. Personally, when it comes to breweries, I like the purveyors of the beer to be excited about it, talk about, and educate me.
I give the beer 4 stars for sure!!! I think NMB has a very memorable and distinct beerganization!
