  • This rating is for the overall experience. I had fun, but I think because I've been to another escape room company before, it set the bar super high before coming to Xterious. There were technical difficulties and boring staff that made the reality of actually being in theme with being stuck in a place, very dampened. First, the timer looking clock did not work. We had no idea how long we had to escape or how much time we used up. The walkie talkie that the staff used to communicate to us had some sort of trick. We weren't ever sure if they heard us talk to them on it. They had to walk in to tell us to just turn it off and back on if anything. Then after a few attempts on a lock pad, we had to wait for an employee to take their time walking in to reset the keypad. The set up of the Bugsy escape room was well thought out, challenging and fun still, but the kinks need to be smoothened out. Hopefully their upcoming horror one has some technical upgrades.
