Abay was the first restaurant I ever had Ethiopian food in, and I loved it... Right now I am in North-Cal, have eaten Ethiopian food at three different restaurants in the area this summer, and none of them have compared to Abay for me... The restaurant has nice decor & ambiance, friendly staff.
Just be cautious about what time you go to eat so that you are not waiting there forever! Around 8PM on weekends it is packed and you have to wait quite awhile because it is becoming a more popular place.
My favorite dish is the Shiro Wat, I love spicy food and this one hits the spot! I am also a meat-eater and Abay has made me love vegetarian food!
